Sophomore Andrew Kubuski led the Falcons offensively in Saturday's contest, going two-for-three with two runs scored, two home runs, and seven RBI. Losby had three RBI in the game, to bring his team-leading total to 19 on the season.
The Falcons would get on the board in the second inning to take a 1-0 lead against the Colonels, courtesy of Andrew Kubuski's two-out home run. The Falcons would break the game open in the top of the third, scoring 14 runs on 10 hits to take a 15-0 lead after the top of the third.
Jake Thomas and Brandon Howard led off the third with singles, followed by a Jeremy Shay walk to load the bases. Losby would then double, followed by a Kuns single, to take the 4-0 lead. Logan Walker would reach on an infield single, followed by the first out of the inning—an Andrew Kubuski sacrifice fly to give the Falcons a 6-0 lead. Andrew Kubuski would make sure that the first six base runners that reached with two outs would not be stranded, as he knocked a grand slam, his second home run of the game.
The Colonels would get on the board in the bottom of the third, but the Falcons would put them away with five more in the top of the fourth to take a 20-1 lead after just 3.5 innings. Bowling Green would add two more in the top of the eighth, before the Colonels scored their second, and final, run of the game in the bottom of the ninth.
