Mingo Streaking
Dajon Mingo led the Falcons in scoring over the weekend with three points (1-2=3) at Michigan Tech, helping the Orange and Brown go 1-0-1 on the road. Mingo has now tallied at least one point in his last five games (3-4=7) for a new career-high point streak.
Burke's Huge Weekend
Sophomore goaltender Tommy Burke tallied a new career-high in saves -- twice -- over the weekend. Burke saved a career high 39-of-41 shots in the Falcons 3-2 victory on Friday night, and then broke his career-high mark on Saturday by saving 43-of-47 shots in a 4-4 tie with Tech. On the year, Burke's record stands at 6-1-4 with a 2.38 goals-against average and a .914 save percentage.
Less Is More
The Huskies out-shot the Falcons 88-57 over the weekend, marking only the second time this season the Orange and Brown had less shots on net than their opponent (Union College 56-47). In fact, even though Bowling Green was outshot 41-18 on Friday night the Falcons improved to 5-1-3 in the first game of a weekend series.
