Ohio (9-9) owns the six seed, but faces the top two teams in the league – Miami and Ball State – over the next two weeks.

COACH SCHMITZ QUOTE
"As the regular season winds down, I expect our team to embrace each opportunity. Dayton is a good program, and they are playing extremely well this season. We beat them earlier in the year, so I expect them to be ready to go. We will be looking to play a strong game to give us some momentum heading into a big weekend at home against Central Michigan."

PROBABLE STARTING PITCHERS

A LOOK BACK: FALCONS BEAT DAYTON ON APRIL 3 AT STELLER FIELD
The Falcons jumped on Dayton right away, scoring seven runs over the first two innings – including a five-run first – to take a 7-0 lead. BGSU went on to score one run in the fifth, before a pair of two-run frames in both the sixth and seventh innings.
Â
Dayton plated three in the fourth inning, and then a three-run home run in the seventh capped a four-run frame. Dayton scored the final run of the ballgame in the eighth, but the Flyers were never able to get within two runs after BGSU's big start.
Â
Mike Malewitz, Dylan Dohanos and Jake Wilson – Bowling Green's top three batters in the lineup – each had three hits. Malewitz and Dohanos had two RBI, while Wilson drove in one run. Brad Croy's two-RBI single in the first allowed him to finish the contest with two RBI.
