MURRAY, Ky. -- The Bowling Green State University baseball team lost in heartbrekaing fashion on Saturday (Feb. 29) afternoon at Murray State University. The Racers hit a walk-off single in the bottom of the ninth inning to defeat Bowling Green, 2-1. The non-conference contest was played at Reagan Field.Â
Bowling Green drops to 1-7 on the campaign with the loss. The Racers move to 6-5 with the victory. MSU is 5-0 in 2020 at home.
The Falcons tied the game in the seventh with an RBI single from Jake Wilson. The Falcons also recieved hits from Trent Farquhar, Adam Furnas, Tyler Ross and Dylan Dohanos. Tyler Hays was brilliant on the mound for Bowling Green, going 7.0 innings and allowing just one run and two hits. BGSU out-hit MSU, 5-4.
