She is just the fourth individual qualifer from Bowling Green, joining Wendy Licht-Ordway (1998), JoAnn Lanciaux (1981) and Betsy Ryan (1980). The entire team qualified in 1995 and Kristin Gaddis posted the top finish in program history, a 71st place result. This year, it takes a top 40 finish to be named an All-American.

Bowling Green is currently riding a 15-match win streak to begin the season, tying what is believed to be the best start in the history of BGSU Athletics and joining the 1964 men's tennis team. Additionally, the Falcons have already clinched a spot in the MAC Tournament and are nearing clinching the top seed in the MAC Tournament as well. With wins and some help in other matches across the conference, that could come as early as this upcoming weekend.Â

Sunday, March 20 at Northern Illinois, 1:00 pm | Live Stats | @BGSUMensSoccer
The men's soccer Falcons, after playing at Cochrane Stadium for the first time in 16 months, now return to the road for a pair of matches this week. BGSU will head to Morgantown for a Wednesday afternoon matchup with West Virginia, before facing Northern Illinois in DeKalb on Sunday. Chris Sullivan headed home a Jensen Lukacsko cross to give the Orange and Brown a 1-0 win in overtime over #25 SIUE in the lone match of last week. BGSU dominated the contest, outshooting the Cougars by a 19-1 count. It was the Falcons' fourth-straight contest against a nationally-ranked opponent. Entering Wednesday's WVU match, the Falcons are 21-12-3 over the last 36 contests, dating to late in the 2018 season.

BGSU is 2-1-0 on the season after suffering a 2-1 loss at Buffalo. The Falcons are part of a four-team logjam atop the MAC's East Division, as UB, KSU and MU all have 2-1-0 records as well. Jasmijn Dijsselhof scored the first goal of her Falcon career, against UB, but the Bulls rallied to give the Falcons their first loss of the season. Despite the loss, the Falcons have an overall record of 43-19-7 over the last three-plus seasons.

For the first time in nearly two years, the Falcons will play at Meserve Field. Believe it or not, 14 of the 23 players on the current roster have never played a home game since coming to BGSU, but that will change this weekend as the Orange and Brown will host Central Michigan in a four-game MAC series. The teams are scheduled to play single games on Friday and Sunday, sandwiched around a Saturday twinbill, with live stats for all four games and a live video stream for the Friday and Saturday contests. The Falcons played just one match last week, defeating Dayton by a 6-5 count on Wednesday afternoon. Maycee Godbolt had a pair of doubles and drove in the first three runs of the game to stake the Falcons to a lead they would never relinquish. The second game of the scheduled doubleheader was called due to darkness. BGSU is scheduled to play each of the other 10 MAC teams four times each, with home series vs. CMU, Akron (April 2-4), Miami (April 30-May 1) and Kent State (May 14-16), and road trips to Ball State (March 26-28), Buffalo (April 9-11), Ohio (April 16-18) and Northern Illinois (May 7-9). The Falcons will play two midweek doubleheaders each vs. Toledo (away on April 20, home on April 28) and Western Michigan (home on May 4, away on May 12).

Bowling Green is scheduled to open Mid-American Conference play this weekend at Ohio University with a four-game series at Bob Wren Stadium in Athens, Ohio. BGSU heads into conference play with a deceiving 2-8 record. The Falcons have lost three one-run games, including two extra-innings contests. The Falcons concluded last weekend's series at Western Kentucky with a wild 17-16 defeat. The Orange and Brown plated four runs in the ninth, but a strikeout with the bases loaded ended the contest. Bowling Green has now scored 10-plus runs in three of its 10 games in 2021. In last season's shortened 13-game season, BGSU scored 10-plus runs just once. Tyler Ross leads the Falcons this season in batting average (.385) and is tied with Kyle Gurney for the team lead in runs scored with nine. Gurney is hitting .297 and is tied with Adam Furnas (.353 batting average) for the team lead in RBI with eight. Andrew Abrahamowicz has set the pace for the Falcon pitching staff and has racked up a team-high 19 strikeouts over a team-high 17.0 innings. Will MacLean is doing a great job out of the BGSU bullpen, having logged a 1.93 ERA in four appearances.
GYMNASTICS (1-10, 0-6Â MAC)
Saturday, March 20 at MAC Championships (Kalamazoo, Mich.), 2:00 pm | Video Stream | Live Stats | @FalconGymn
BGSU will compete at the MAC Championships Saturday, hosted by Western Michigan University. The Falcons have been building towards this meet, improving scores repeatedly over the past month. Alex Fochler will be a factor on uneven bars, where she currently ranks sixth in the MAC. In the all-around, Taylor Jensen just set a new career-best Friday night, a score that places her among the best results in the MAC this year.Â
