BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Bowling Green State University baseball team hosts a Tuesday (May 18) doubleheader versus Miami University at Steller Field at Gary Haas Stadium. First pitch is scheduled for 1:05 p.m. Both Mid-American Conference ballgames are scheduled for seven innings.
Tuesday's action is a continuation of a series that began on May 4, when the Falcons earned a 7-1 win over the RedHawks. The nine-inning series finale is slated for May 25 at 3:05 p.m.
With seven games left in the season, the Falcons still have a lot to play for. Miami (14-15 MAC) is 4.0 games ahead of Bowling Green (12-21), but it's the Falcons that can clinch the series on Tuesday afternoon. BGSU is just 1.5 games back of Northern Illinois and 3.0 games behind Eastern Michigan. The Falcons conclude the 2021 season with a four-game series versus NIU in Bowling Green over May 28-30.
