April 07, 2023 | Baseball
BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Bowling Green State University baseball team fell short in a tough battle with the Kent State Golden Flashes on Friday (April 7) with a 1-0 final. Gage Schenk got the start for the Falcons before handing it over to Connar Penrod in the eighth. The two combined to allow just two hits to one of the top offensive teams in the MAC, allowing just one run that was unearned. At the plate, the Falcons tallied six hits and drew four walks, but couldn't string them together for a run. The loss moves BGSU to 11-15 on the season and 6-7 in the MAC with two more games this weekend against the Golden Flashes.
