Falcon Hockey to Host Bemidji in Home Opener
October 30, 2025 | Ice Hockey
BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Bowling Green ice hockey team will enjoy a visit from the Bemidji State Beavers over Halloween weekend, as they host their first home CCHA series of the 2025-26 season. The Falcons got their CCHA schedule started in electric fashion last weekend, as they swept Lake Superior State by scores of 4-1 and 3-2.
The matchup represents a way-too-early battle for first place in the CCHA, as Bemidji State also swept their series last weekend, beating the Augustana Vikings 1-0 in overtime and 3-2 in regulation. With those two wins, the Beavers sit just a point behind the Falcons in the CCHA standings, earning five out of a possible six points due to their first matchup against the Vikings going into overtime.
