>>FALCONS ON TAP
- The No. 10 ranked Bowling Green State University hockey team returns home to Slater Family Ice Arena this weekend to take on the Lakers of Lake Superior State University.
- The Falcons and Lakers will face-off for game one at 7:37 pm ET on Friday Nov. 16, and then again for game two at 7:07 pm ET on Saturday Nov. 17.
- This is the only scheduled meeting between these two WCHA foes for the 2018-19 regular season.
>>VERSUS LAKE SUPERIOR STATE
- All-time, Bowling Green holds a 83-73-2 advantage over Lake Superior State.
- A narrow opponent for the Falcons in recent years, Bowling Green has gone 8-7-4 against Lake Superior State since the two schools joined the WCHA before the 2013-14 season.
- LSSU enters this series having cooled off slightly following a hot start to the season that saw them win five in a row (with an additional pair of exhibition wins). Since their 5-0-0 start they have gone 0-2-1 in their last three games.
 >>LAST TIME OUT
- The Bowling Green State University hockey team enters this matchup having posted a 7-2-2 record on the year thus far. They hold a 2-1-1 record in conference play following their first two WCHA series with Northern Michigan and Alaska Anchorage.
- Bowling Green tied the Seawolves of Alaska Anchorage in game one of their series on Friday (Nov. 9) night. The game was dictated by strong goal tending on both sides of the ice as the Falcons and Seawolves would battle to a zero to zero draw by the end of regulation.
- In just his second start of the season, Eric Dop would make 33 saves shutting out the Seawolves.
- Chris Pohlkamp would score for Bowling Green in the second overtime period, gaining the Falcons a second point in WCHA play.

- Lukas Craggs scored an early power play goal before Connor Ford would add another for BGSU as the first period expired. Ford would score again in the second period.
- Ryan Bednard would tally his second shutout of the season turning away all 25 shots by Alaska Anchorage.
>>STATISTICAL STANDOUTS
- In a season that has been defined so far by a high scoring offense, the Falcons find themselves leading a different category this week. - With its 23-12-6 overall record, 2017-18 marked the fourth consecutive season that the Falcons have reached the 20-win milestone. The four-year stint is the third longest in program history, behind a nine season, and six season stretch.
